Sherwood Valve offers two different varieties in this category: the Basic Valve Model and the Robust Valve Model.

Sherwood's Basic Chlorine Gas Valves are manufactured to meet the standards outlined in Chlorine Institute Pamphlet 17. These valves always feature a single piece Monel® stem to last long while remaining strong. They also provide a positive shut-off for chlorine and other gases. Customer can select either PTFE or Garlock® 6130 packaging. These valves are simple to use and leak resistant. Construction is aluminum silicon bronze. Basic valve body always features large wrench flats for the most efficient installation for the customer. 

The Exclusive Robust Valves by Sherwood feature heavier duty construction in the bodies paired with packing nuts for a higher loadbearing strength and sturdiness against any cracking, breakage, or corrosion. These valves are of course also approved and supported by the Chlorine Institute Pamphlet 17, and their setup mirrors that of the basic valves. Same inlets and outlets, and the inclusion of packing rings, outlet caps, yokes, and wrenches, with the one piece official Monel stem and choice of packaging as noted above.
