LOX-8 9712151 paste pipe joint thread sealant is highly recommended where oxygen, harsh chemicals such as chlorine or powerful oxidizers are present. The LOX-8 Paste is thicker and therefore normally used to seal the threads in pipe joints. Use LOX-8 where wet/humid conditions exist, in pressures up to 10,000 psi.
